all my shingle ladies

a little update: the pain kicked into high gear last night leaving me shirtless in bed laying on my right side crying. i slept through my geology lab this morning and needed painkillers asap. the doctor prescribed me something and i layed on the couch all day and slept. new spots of the rash have appeared on my back, under my armpit and another on my chest.

shingles makes me do weird things

such as:

• going from apartment to apartment begging for narcotics
• wake up in the middle of the night crying
• organize the dvd bookcase
• shower obsessively. up to 3 times a day.
  
• fall asleep unexpectedly (thanks to the tylenol&codeine)
• lie over text messages
  for example:
  Jordan: hey, i'm almost done with my lab and then i'll stop over. Have the painkillers kicked in yet?
  Me: yeah i feel excellent!!
  L.I.E (mind you i was both sleeping and drugged when i sent that)
  

i'm really grateful for:
1. a valentines package from my mom
2. roommates who are asking every 3 minutes via text message, phone call, and face-to-face chat if i need anything
3. visits from friends
4. painkillers
5. GREAT geology friends that will give me notes when i'm better
